Koh Tao Bars and Parties

When it comes to Koh Tao bars and parties, you’ll be spoilt for choice every evening. Bars across the island will happily entertain you with a whole range of music, while you enjoy a few drinks and a dance with friends. In the more built up areas such as Sairee Beach and Chalok Baan Kao you’ll find many bars which arrange regular events throughout the week. For those who can stand the pace, there are weekly pub crawls organised by companies which promise an unforgettable fun packed night for everyone involved. This is a great way to meet new friends, create awesome memories and see a large selection of bars and parties on Koh Tao in just one evening.

Koh Tao may be a small island compared with neighbouring Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, but it certainly doesn’t have a small nightlife to match. The Koh Tao bars and parties don’t quite compare to the famous monthly Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan, however, they have been known to come a close second. International and local DJs will show off their talents and entertain you from dusk until dawn as you dance all night with friends at some of the best known clubs on the island. Around Full Moon, if you don’t fancy heading over to Koh Phangan you can party here on Koh Tao instead – we have just as much fun, if not more.

If you are feeling like a party and not sure where to go the check out the fun packed Koh Tao Pub Crawl.  Taking place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, this extremely popular night takes you on a fun filled trip through Koh Tao’s night time hotspots. A pool party, cabaret show, live music and beach party are just some of the things you get to experience.

Enjoy Koh Tao’s famous Queens Cabaret Show, a special drag/ladyboy performance you can even get up on stage yourself at the end of the night if you feel up for it, the islands top DJ’s and live bands and get wet at the pool party. If you like to party and you want to meet new people this is without doubt the way to do it. Check in for the pub crawl is at Choppers Bar near Sairee Beach.

If you prefer something a little more relaxed, there are also plenty of beach bars where you can chill out. Here you you can simple sit and admire the beautiful sunsets which we are so blessed to get here on Koh Tao every evening. Absorb the sounds of the sea as you drift off into your own personal thoughts and reflect on your day in paradise!
